Trust Yoga, a partner yoga developed by Jules Paxton, uses yoga to deepen our relationship with others and ourselves; integrating Conscious Movement alignment technique with partner yoga, for a unique experience.

Jules developed Trust Yoga as a way of sharing his own understanding of relationship. Previously he co-developed Contact Yoga – another partner based yoga.

TRUST Yoga – the new yoga of relationship

Traditionally self-involved a new style of yoga is breaking ground in London.

Neatly named “TRUST yoga” this partner based style isn't so much about toning the muscles and navel gazing – as gazing into the eyes of the one you love while you balance precariously on their feet – and trusting that they aren't going to drop you….

Founded by Yoga/Empowerment Teacher, Jules Paxton, TRUST yoga works on many levels.

As Paxton says “First there is trusting yourself – that you can do what you want to do and be what you want to be. Then there is trust with your partner…  the very core of any relationship. Finally you learn to trust yoga itself – to trust the process, the practice, the tradition, the energy of yoga”.

Based on five key principles this partnership Yoga blends with Paxton's other unique innovation, Conscious Movement.

As Paxton explained “Conscious Movement is the essence, the foundation – really the secret key behind any movement of the body. It lightens the body, expands the energy and lets Innate Intelligence flow through you.  TRUST yoga is Conscious Movement applied to a partner yoga – there is nothing like it."

Paxton was previously involved in developing the partner yoga system known as Contact Yoga in California .

“I've always done partner work, prior to Contact Yoga, and right to the present. It is a core part of my work with my clients. Contact Yoga represented what I knew 8 years ago. That has evolved – and most importantly I've distilled out what I consider to the secret essence of my work, Conscious Movement – a rapid alignment technique for mind, body and soul, and incorporated that into TRUST Yoga. This work reflects my own growth, failings, struggling and learnings."


About Jules Paxton

Jules Paxton holds a Masters of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and studied Law at Colombia University . Inspired by his experiences in competitive bodybuilding, he embraced yoga and other spiritual practices as a wellspring of tapping into his own human potential, His innovative approach to Alignment and Conscious Movement have made up one of the most sought out empowerment practitioners. Featured in various publications including the New York Times and Vogue, he is currently writing a book on his discoveries of the human body and its infinite potential. Jules' latest work, Trust Yoga, integrates Conscious Movement into a partner style yoga with the aim of deepening the relationship with one's partner - and with one's self.
